The drug addiction problem is answered through the institutions that provide help in treating addicts and helping them live normally again without the drugs. Addiction treatment centers are institutions planned to aid alcoholics and addicts heal physically, mentally and spiritually, and rediscover themselves in a drug and alcohol-free environment.
All drug and alcohol treatment centers have basically the same goal, namely to help people with drug or alcohol abuse issues to learn how to live a life of abstinence. Yet, every treatment centers are directed with their own unique philosophies in their treatment programs. A treatment center can be identified as any type of free-standing facility where therapy and education is given for a variety of physical or psychological conditions.
There are different drug treatment centers that can provide cure for any type of addict. The Residential treatment centers are there to aid the client find out first-hand what it feels like to live a clean and sober lifestyle, while in rehabilitation. Clients are offered

There are centers that help only adolescents while some treat both adults and adolescents. Furthermore, wilderness programs are located in remote, isolated regions of the country. They usually provide to adolescent clientele. Hospital-based programs are either situated very nearly to a hospital or licensed as a psychiatric facility which treats patients with some form of mental illness and or chemical abuse. Furthermore, long term comprehensive care program are intended for clients who needed more time on rehab after completing a 28 day primary program. The length of residence is usually about 90 days and as long as 1 year. Certain treatment centers only cater to women, and some only cater to men. There are also centers that accommodateto both men and women. Lastly, there are treatment centers offering an alcohol, drug rehab program with a strong emphasis on religion. Most, but not all, are Christian.
In treatment centers, there are also levels of treatment depending on the kind of addiction the patient is in. Intensive Outpatient is the process of attending group and individual counseling sessions at a clinic, several times per week. Outpatient Program, for many, this is the right step towards recovery. Moreover, partial hospitalization programs entail attending group and individual counseling sessions at a hospital based program, either all morning or all afternoon, 5 times per week. And some are 9 to 5, Monday through Friday. Partial Hospitalization Programs are mostly held in hospital based programs, as a step down involving detox and intensive outpatient. Group therapy is being used most of the time. On the other hand, inpatient is the level that gets the most attention. Most have a detox as a component of their services and others will send someone who requires detox to a facility nearby and then be readmitted. Patients check in for some period of full time, stay there 24 hours a day. Every day consists of group therapy, some individual counseling, lectures, some form of exercise. Like inpatient, residential, long term extended care requires the client to stay there 24 hours a day. There are, however, a number of key differences. One is the length of the drug program. Long term programs usually last 90 days. The other difference is the clinical therapeutic intensity level. Extended care has less individual therapy. And the cost of extended care is also much less than 30 day residential.
All treatment centers are unique. An addict should not be afraid to consider himself to go on a rehabilitation center because he will always find a center that would suit him.

Thanks for the post. Nice to see it spelled out like you have done.
I’ve always believed that treatment is personal and unique and should be designed to fit that person.
